Spirituality is…

Happy Monday Friends–hope you all had a fantastic weekend!!! The other day I ran across this quote from Indian mystic and guru, Osho, and it was so inspiring to me that I just had to share–his words are an excellent reminder to breathe, laugh and enjoy life more each day! God is always joking. Look at your own life. It is a joke! Look at other people’s lives, and you will find jokes and jokes and jokes. Seriousness is illness; seriousness has nothing spiritual about it. Spirituality is laughter, spirituality is joy, spirituality is fun. -Osho

One thing she touches on in the talk has to do with living authentically–she discusses how we may act around people, sometimes we shrink down and make ourselves small, other times we “puff up” and let our egos take over. Her motto for just being yourself is “Stand Your Sacred Ground” and I found... Continue Reading

This beautiful silk scarf for a breezy summer night. I have one of these headbands and it is the best–it is impossible not to smile while wearing... Continue Reading

Listening List

When I am working away in the studio my favorite thing to do is listen to audiobooks and podcasts–I don’t have much extra free time to read and there is just something soothing about listening to another person’s voice. Hearing other people’s stories is just so fascinating–their joys, struggles, pains and triumphs are such an inspiration as I create throughout the day. So, I thought I would share a few of my favorite podcasts and audiobooks that have been on my playlist lately! The Moth is one of my absolute fav podcasts, I just love how real and candid it...
